OK, We've been fiddling with the advertising on the site, and have settled with minimal advertising. We have added a button to allow people to make a donation to BandX by purchasing an MP3 from CDBaby. Hopefully this way we don't force people to buy the MP3s, and allow for the generous at heart to contribute, so we can give you more music.

If you've noticed, we've brought back the MP3's page. If you're on Safari or Chrome, you can start playing any one of the songs that's there. You also have the opportunity do download the songs from the link above the player for each piece.

Firefox doesn't play mp3s but does play oggs. I've been thinkin about turning all my mp3s to oggs. But there are so many songs now, that it would take me a long time to do it. I do think that i will attempt to upload oggs for the new song from now on so that the players can work .

IE on the other hand does not support the audio tag at all... I guess it's not quite html5 compliant....what else is new?

For all the browsers, however you can still download the songs.

As far as the "Who" album goes, we're working on writing a number of songs including one called Tin Dog, as well as Bo, Companion, and a re-write of the Shanti song: Cybernetia called Cybernetia-2010 and when I say re-write, I mean rewrite with new lyrics and everything. These are all vocal tracks, although I'm expecting the vocals will be heavily effected. We've got a lot of stokes on the fire, and are very excited about this year...It's been over a decade that BandX has ben around, and we still feel we're getting better. We're certain you'll love the next album.

Oh yeah, don't worry about the fact that this next album will have vocal tracks, the main portion of it will still be heavy techno music as you've come to expect from BandX.

It appears that the songs have not yet been propagated to the 3rd party distributors yet. Y'all will have to wait. On the flip side, we have been working on the next album again, and have come up with a name "Who". We've put together a track (with vocals) called "Extermination". We're also re-imaging the Shanti Song: "Regeneration". We also have a song in mind called "Traveller". We're definitely looking forward to putting this album together.

Also if you've noticed, the mp3 button is missing from the navigation. We're actually going to try to put together a little "listen on the site" deal for each song.

Also we've added a bit of advertising just to get some added revenue for the site. Don't worry we're still going to give you the choice for downloading the lower-quality MP3 from our site, or purchasing the higher-quality piece from the 3rd party distributors.

It's Live! It's Live! Planet is live on CDBaby and pushed to the digital distributors. You can now buy it from iTunes, Rhapsody, CDBaby itself, and a plethora of other places. I'm hoping it can be streamed through pandora. Wouldn't that be great? Anyway, if you want to see the site on CDBaby goto http://cdbaby.com/cd/bandx2

Fantastic!

With an upgrade of our system we ended up with a few issues, but we are now back and and can update. We have given CD Baby our material and are still  waiting for them to upload it to the digital distrubutors. Hopefuly soon you'll see Planet on iTunes or whatever.

We are working on the new album in the studio now and hope to have something for you soon in that regards as well.

We've got some ideas of a more industrial sound, possibly with some far-Eastern influence. Possible some South-East Asian sounds as well. I've always liked the sound of a Tabla, or a Harmonium...we'll see.

Hello there, I know it's been months since I wrote last and I apologize. Things have been pretty busy around here with Asif's job, and we have not been able to work on any BandX projects...But I can tell you that we finally goth things squared away with CDBaby, and a year after its release, Planet has been accepted by them and they should be able to distribute it across all the main mediums.

We definitely have a lot of ideas floating about the next album, and think this may be a more industrial sound with a lot of synthetics, not that ours wasn't synthetic enough, but we really want to try some modification with the sound to make it a bit more etherial counterpointed with the down to earth industrial metal sound. We think you mioght enjoy it, but as usual our albums always end up far different that what we inintially intend them to sound like. Our Techno electronic music sound will be perfect for your ears.

OK, Ideas have been popping around our heads...and it seems we may not release the vocals version of planet...heck we still haven't been able to get planet on itunes yet, but don't fear folks, we will very soon.

The new album (I know a bit quicker than expected) may contain a lot of Fat Synths and a very analog aound. This one we're thinking will be made for vocals insted of planet which had the idea to have vocals.

Keep coming back...Maybe we'll call this one "Factor"

We've gotten started on the vocal portions of Planet and hope to have that up a ready soon. We have some massive plans for this album and are really looking forward to getting it out to the masses.

Ok, I know I said 2 weeks, but other things have come up to take our time away from the album..."Planet" still needs to have its final 2 songs written and the vocals still need to be added and mixed, however the ten tracks we have right now are phenomenal. I think you'll be very happy with the results.

So far the song titles are as follows World Movement, Planet Earth, Change the World, Earth Orbit, Earth Shatter, Perfect World, Planet Core, Earth Land, World 5 and Nigtmares 2008. Vocals need to be added to Earth Orbit, Change the World, and Pefect World

I can't give a date out as to when we'll be done...but soon.

All Right!
We've been working hard, trying to put together some more pieces. We have 9 tracks all together now. We need three more and we're ready for release. Hopefull these will be ready next week. After that we will clean them up a bit, mix in the vocals, and finalize them. Hopefully in about two weeks, we should be ready to release the album.
