Hey everybody! happy pi day! We apologize for not keeping up with the news lately. It has been more than a few months since we've written. Just to let you know, work is still progressing with TMG. We're due to have the Album: "Who" re-mastered, pressed and distributed to shelves soon.
In other BandX news we've been working in the studio a litle and have come up with a couple songs: "Elected for Change", and "Leader of men"...(Do you sense a theme here?) We're stil trying to come up with a good name, but for now we'll call it "Time Lords of the Ring"
Anyway we still might be a bit spotty on the news front, but we are definitely tryuing to come up with a new album...wish us luck on "Who" and with the new album.

My Dear appreciated fans. There is big news for BandX.. It seems that our music is now more popular than ever, and because of this, Asif is just one UPS drop away from singning on with a Record Label. We're moving to a new level of availability and production, with the backing of a distribution, promotion and production company. Once the ink has dried and the formalities have been taken care of, we'll let you who the company is and what we're expecting to do with them.
As always we will be bringing you more of our evolving electronic music, but there will be changes for the better. You may be hearing our songs on the radio, and see our CD's in the stores, and even see a concert or two.
Keep your ear out for our songs, it's an exciting time.

Hallo,
Well welcome to the new BandX site. I'm sure it was a shock when you first stepped into it, expecting to see the old grey site. We decided to give it a bit of a facelift. Watcha think?
Okay okay it still looks distinctly like the old site with a slightly different color, but we've completely re-written the back-end from the ground-up. It's a completely new framework we like to call WYCYDW (pronounced: Wi-ked). We've re-worked the menu system slightly as well. We've gotten rid ofthe MP3's link and made the albums and songs nav links more sane. There's also a contact link, just in case you want to sent us a little note on how awesome we are ;)
Okay. Here's the skinny on what we have planned:
- We want to get an actual CD put together of the Who album so that we can market it on Amazon. I know it sounds like we're sellig out, but the trutgh of the matter is we want to spread BandX music to Pandora. An you need a bonified CD in order to get there...hence the CD
- We are trying to conscript someone to make at least one video for us to get one of our Who songs on YouTube. We don't just want to put music to a slideshow...that's just boring. Maybe put Asif in a bowtie cause 'bowties are cool'.
- We are playing around with different sounds to come up with a theme for the next album. We're starting to lean towards a hard-edged sound with somewhat religious lyrics. Or maybe not, Nothing's set's in stone yet. Someone has suggested that we do Electronic Country...now that's a thought. Though it might be kinda hard to pull of...
- People have suggested we do a live show....we might want to toy around with a couple bars in the Dallas, Tx area, just to get our feet wet...We'll let you know if we have any definite plans.
So that's what we're planning... I do apologize about the removal of the mp3s section. It just seems that since we basically have many places you can hear it, downloading such large files might be a bit cumbersone. So hop around the site, see what you like and what you don't. And don't forget to use the contact form.
By the way we never thank you enough for beign BandX fans. We seriously do appreciate your interest so please keep coming back. and as usual, don't forget to tell your friends.
Thanks,
Ace Macleod & Asif Chowdhury

Ok, It's been a few months since our last update. We've been trying to come up with ideas to top our Doctor Who tribute album Who.
We've thought about trying our luck with a more hard edged sound. Worry not, we're now in the studio again working on more music for y'all.
Come back soon, and don't forget to tell your friends. Also Don't forget to check out CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon, and Jango for our songs.
